Open Question: my girlfriend is too gothy and i want to tell her in a nice way?
its not that its unattractive it just weirds me out with her depressive poetry and body jewelry. she has a lot of odd pets too. she is a wonderful girl that i love to bits but her new style is very much of a turnoff. she dyes her hair a new color every week and when we try to be intimate she says things that are a bit creepy. i don't want her to think i'm trying to change her or anything, just that its really hard to be turned on when she acts that way. how do i tell her?
Open Question: A woman willingly offer herself as sacrifice for savages. Does anyone know the title of this movie?
I saw part of a movie when I was very young. I'm not traumatized by it but every time I see something about ritual sacrifice I always have this image pop in to my head and I'd like to put it to rest. I only remember this one seen so I'll do my best to describe it as I remember it. I hope time hasn't distorted it too much in my memory. - It's probably one of those old cannibal movies. - I saw it around the late 80's on TV, so the movie is at least this old if not older. Here are the events in the seen as I remember them. - This seen is at night in the jungle in an open cave, if I remember correctly. - There's a small group of white people held by savages. - There was at least 2 women in the group, maybe more. One of them was to be sacrificed and I remember at least one other woman watching with one or more guys in the group. - I remember the savages were not violent towards her, even gentile as they prepared her for the ritual... almost as if she offered herself willingly, that's the part that weird me out. - The savages undress her and rub oil over her entire body and put hand made jewelry on her. At that moment she seems to insist on keeping a pendant around her neck that meant something to her. (I may be wrong about the pendant) - Then one of the savages offer her something to eat that looks like a black mushroom or black paste of some kind. She takes a bite of it even though her friends tell her not to. - Then she climbs on a structure made of wood or bamboo and the savages ties her hands and feet to it in a "cross" position. - Shortly after she falls asleep, probably died from that black mushroom. Then the savages dance around and do the typical ritual ceremonial stuff. That's it, that's all I can remember from this movie. I hope one of you knows this movie and can give me the title so I can finally find out what that was all about and put it to rest. Thanks, Louis
